THREE GENERATIONS OF SHOEMAKERS

‘Making high-quality shoes is in our DNA. Our grandmother, Margarida Serrallonga, opened her own shoe shop in the north of Barcelona 70 years ago, and our parents grew up the business.’

A family business was reignited when we were asked to make customized sneakers for one of the human tower teams using their distinct colours and logo.

Soon after, in the spring of 2016, Guillem, who studied Graphic Design and Art History, and his brother Ferran, an entrepreneur with an Economics Degree, dove into the family trade headfirst.

After they made the very first branded shoes for the Castellers, they came up with the idea of branded sneakers for companies.

It is an innovative project that provides an opportunity for any company to implement their brand on corporate footwear. BrandYourShoes is still growing every day, with customers worldwide.

It all started from an advertising & communication agency when a Colla de Castellers (human towers) asked to customize sneakers with their colors for the team.

Thanks to this project, Guillem and his father Josep decided to merge Guillem’s design agency and Josep’s 40 years of experience in the footwear industry. Together they created BrandYourShoes, a new start-up from Barcelona that produces unique customized sneakers.

The business grew, and the Internationalization came from Ferran, the co-owner of the Company, who brought forward his vast experience in international markets. BrandYourShoes sneakers are original, high-quality, and representing innovation in the fashion and branding industry.

BrandYourShoes offers the possibility of the full customization of sneakers for companies and groups.

In Catalonia we received the Talents award in the Fashion and Crafts category; in France, the Vénus de l’Innovation, Heavent Paris award for best Communication Object and in Germany the Promotional Award in the category of Personalised Designs.
